The Gliga II is a 1/2 size violin outfit built in the Gliga workshops, one step up from the Gliga III in timber grade. The spruce selected for the top shows tighter grain for improved resonance, and the maple back, neck and sides begin to show flame, finished with a range of oil finishes and antiquing. It is strung with Pirastro Violino strings and supplied in a TG Hill-style lightweight oblong case with an FPS Brazilwood horsehair bow.
