The BOSS SY-1000 is a guitar and bass synthesiser and modelling processor combining polyphonic synthesis, instrument modelling and effects processing derived from the GT-1000. It uses BOSS's GK pickup technology for tracking and can layer up to three instrument types simultaneously, with independent pitch, level and panning control for each string.
